- "Fort Wayne, Indiana-based Petra got its start in 1974, signed by Billy Ray Hearn to Myrrh Records, and making a hard-rock debut album filled with crunchy guitars and in-you-face production values, the likes of which had simply never been heard on a religious record label before. What the band lacked on its first outing, however, was a lead singer to match its instrumental authenticity. The band would later be fronted by Greg Volz and later, John Schlitt, but in the beginning it was Bob Hartman, Petra's founder/guitarist/songwriter who gave it his most valiant vocal effort, as heard here on "Walkin' In The Light."

- This compilation was mastered by Ken Love. Petra was released long before Ken started his mastering career, so this CD contains a remastered version. However, the CD reissue from 1995 does not give any mastering credits. Whether this is the remastered version from the 1995 CD reissue or an especially for this compilation remastered version remains to be seen.
