Dear Josh
"Sometimes I feel so alone - like no one cares. It seems my folks live in their separate world and I live in mine. I know it sounds crazy, but I want them to leave me alone and yet, I want to be a part of their lives. Most of the time they leave me alone and it gets pretty lonely" A Lonely Teenager
In the next 30 minutes 285 children will become victims of broken homes, 685 teenagers will take some form of narcotic, 57 kids will run away from home and 229 will attempt suicide. Loneliness plagues the lives of young people, even Christian youth, and they are trying desperately to fill that void. In this series Josh McDowell, along with counselor Dr. Norm Wakefield, strike at the heart of the loneliness problem and share biblical solutions that will enable your youth to begin breaking the loneliness cycle.
Each video session opens with a dramatic vignette that sets up the lesson. Then Josh and Norm provide insight, suggested solutions and guidance. Each video session concludes with a dramatic vignette or a music video.
The sessions include:
Session 1: Outside Looking In
Your youth will discover that loneliness is often rooted in their view of themselves. They will learn what makes them feel like losers and get 5 practical steps to developing a winner's mentality.
