This compact disc is the result of a dream and a relationship that started twelve years ago between a singer and a writer. We hung out together, spun yarn together, cried, laughed, felt rejected, bewildered and all the other symptoms of frustrated musicians. We held on to the fire, dealt with barriers (real and unreal), were tranced to the max, kept living for that bell to ring and to emerge from a joyous grave and some not so joyous. We've been encouraged and discouraged. We've grown and we've had months of dryness (I hear it happens to everyone?). Now, finally we have and opportunity to share some of the heaven that is in us. Mike Schmitz shares my heart and my dreams as does Jonathan David Brown, who I've learned so much from the last five years (and albums). Side by side we have searched for and found those still waters and daily remind each other that all we can do is keep on praising the One who gave us life, breath, blessing and destiny.
